Welcome!Gypsy TourUtahSnow Canyon

Sandstone cliffs ... on the hike to Jenny's Canyon.

One last rant about St George. We stayed at the uninspiring and somewhat rundown Redlands RV park (the hookups here are a bit strange). Our site became a red muddy bog when it rained and was butted up against a strip mall with a glaring Payless Shoes sign. On a positive note … the mall also contained a Honey Baked Ham store. So when we were hungry … the RV park seemed quite convenient!

The beauty of the towering red cliffs surrounding the city is being scarred by sprawling retirement suburbs. The rapid growth in population has brought widespread commercial development and choking traffic. However, it is difficult to completely dislike a place that has great old signs like this one from the Safari Motel.
