Welcome!Gypsy TourUtahBrigham City

The Box Elder Tabernacle with its 16 brick buttresses and steeples is an architectural gem. Many think this is one of the most picturesque buildings in Utah.

The Old Box Elder Courthouse is a striking example of the city’s architectural heritage.

Funds were being raised to restore the "GI Joe" statue ... erected as part of the Armistice Day program to honor World Wars I and II veterans from Box Elder County.

The 1914 Carnegie Library building still serves as Brigham City’s only library. Due to extensive remodeling nothing is really left of the original interior.

The city’s Union Pacific Depot is a well restored building from the turn of the century. Once a large shipping center, the station is now an educational center for railroad history.

Many the original fixtures and furniture remain ... notice the old drinking fountain.

We were given a detailed tour through the many displays by a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer. This is the desk of the TOM ... the Train Operations Manager ... the head honcho. Notice the telegraph key and the nifty pull-out phone.
