Never mind that Oregon has a phenomenal coastline, lush forests, picturesque covered bridges, the deepest river gorge in North America (Hells Canyon), and the deepest lake in the U.S. (Crater Lake). What really matters is that Oregon is the only state to have a two sided flag, an official state nut (filbert), more ghost towns than any other state, and a ban on self serve gas stations. We also noticed that Oregon seems to have an espresso stand on every corner ... and a meth lab in every valley. Obviously, something is up with the central nervous system of Oregon.
