The elegant chateau styled Northern Pacific Depot is a must-see landmark. It now houses a Railroad Museum filled with fascinating rail memorabilia. The amazing story, however, is that after the depot closed, it was moved 200 feet to make way for the completion of Interstate 90.


It was a break from all the elegant architecture to see the 50’s Stardust Motel sign.


Speaking of the 50s, our favorite store in town had a dizzying array of vintage pinball machines and juke boxes.


We had lunch at the elegantly restored 1910 Jameson Inn.
