Pinal County Courthouse: An 1891 American Victorian courthouse constructed with fired red brick. The building ran over budget and funds for the clock in the tower where diverted to build a new jail. The clock face is only painted on and always reads 11:44. But it is accurate twice per day! John Nicholas Second Saloon: This is a typical example of one of the many buildings produced from the local brickyards. The use of brick construction gave the town a look of prosperity and permanence. You can see a bit more detail by clicking on the photo.
Brunenkant Bakery: Excellent example of the American Victorian style. Opened as a bakery in 1886 and closed in 1930. Over the years since it has been used as a grocery store, hotel, offices, fraternal organization and library. Loads of statewide visitor info inside!
